An explicit list of the sounds modelled by the SV1 - anyone?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had an explicit list of the instruments modelled by the SV1, rather than the hints from Korg (e.g. German grand - Steinway - Japanese grand - Yamaha). I'm particularly interested in the difference between the rhodes. I'm using the original sounds.

Thanks!

I'm not sure there is a definitive list anywhere, but there are a few lists on this forum. See here

Also the source of some of the sounds discussed in this review

That's a cute picture... but I suspect that the upright they sampled was larger than that one.

Hi,

Would somebody help me please? I can't reach the page above. Could you send the content to me (text+picts, or a PDF)?

Thank you very much,
Akos

Actual instruments listed in service manual

Check out the service manual:

From another post: Join the KORG SV-1 Users on Facebook- then check out the Files section- right at the bottom.

In the manual, see page 2: "target specification lists the instruments being modelled"

For example, for Bank 2:
E.Piano2: Wurlitzer (two types), Yamaha CP80, KorgSG-1D, Korg M1, Roland MKS-20
obviously, this applies to the factory sound pack - later sound packs move them around or replace them.
