Ordering parts from Korg?

Post by chad9477 »

Have any of you successfully ordered a new power supply from Korg? My PSU for my Kaoss Pad 3 went on the fritz a few months back, and so far I've spent money on a couple from other manufacturers that died quickly. (They worked fine initially, just didn't last.)

I've never tried to order something directly from Korg, mostly cos I have heard they never get back to you. Anyone had better luck (and advice on how I might get it)? :)

Parts in the US seem a little odd to me. Korgs US site points you to partsisparts.net, however, partsisparts.net doesn't have that many spares listed as available for older synths.

A few months ago someone was after the left hand button collection for the Triton Extreme, they had tried partsisparts to get told it's no longer available.

I needed the same part and Korg UK had no problems ordering it from Japan, took a few weeks but they managed to get it fine.
