Downloading UDF reader
Looks like I need to download a UDF reader to read the .mid files I burn to CD from the TS. I have a new computer - and I'm running Windows 7. There are many different UDF readers out there - and most of them prompt warning messages that they could damage my computer. If anyone has any advice on the specifics of the type of reader I need, and where I can obtain a safe download, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

The CD burned by the TS should be readable on your computer without a UDF program (I've never seen a post saying they were not readable); .mid files should freely read, copy and be openable using sequencers (for external sounds- i.e., TS playback) or using Windows Media Player (specify using that program on opening - for internal/GM sounds).
What may not be happening for you is the reading or playing of Korg proprietary formats like .sng (not the same as .mid/.smf MIDI) for that you need to either use the "save as" option for sequence data, or get a program that uses the Korg format in its native state (*), they will show as un-openable otherwise. I don't know if a UDF reader would help in that case - I suspect not.
(*) I don't know of one - AFAIK you can only open/edit .sng on a Korg keyboard/hardware sequencer.
