does anyone knows if m50/m3 program and combi can be loaded in krome?
taking a look to voice list, it seems that many voices from m3/m50 are not in krome (at least not with the same name)
it would be nice to swith from m50 to krome but saving all my custom patches

Kimu,
From what little has been said/released about Krome so far I would say that there's no direct transfer because architecture (i.e., number and order of multi-samples, number and order of FX, etc.) is different even if many of the sounds are similar. If it were actually compatible I think we would have seen "...and you can use all your M3/M50 voices" touted as a feature.
If you still have the source synths for a reference tho', you may want to try long-hand duplication. Doing banks programs and especially combis may be pretty tedious, but it can be done and generally gets very good results. [I base that on my experience duping brass and piano voices and moving combis from Trinity to Triton w/o software anywhere in the process.] The more selective you are about what you really need the faster it goes.
From what I've read the two-arp + drum track structure of most combis makes it sound like your could duplicate or even improve most any Triton or M50 program/combi pretty closely.
If the editor software bundled with the Krome is decent (i.e., a true editor and not a program-shuffler/librarian) the process would go much faster.

I looked up for kimu's question because I'm very interested in it myself also. I found that in page 369 in Krome's Parameter Guide there's a title "Compatibility with the M50". Looks promising! It has, for example, the following info:
"The KROME can load M50 format .PCG and .SNG files
while converting them. Data compatibility is supported for
loading and saving each type of data via media.
KROME format .PCG and .SNG files cannot be loaded by
the M50. Song data (.SNG) can be loaded into the M50 if you
first save it as Standard MIDI File (SMF format) data (see
p.232).
When loading M50 format .PCG or .SNG files into the
KROME, please be aware that the following limitations will
apply."
I suggest that you check out that page!

That is good news, indeed.
I suspect that the compatibility issue between .pcg for Krome and M50 data may be similar to that found between triton classic and triton extreme, which is to say compatible in one direction only (and some minor edits may be needed).
For many users I suspect that that level of compatibility will be enough. At the very least it expands the usability of Krome's synth section (with a bit of effort) to include any 3rd party/user programs/combis developed thus far for the M50 line.
Maybe we should start calling the m50 Krome-lite.
-------
So,
.pcg / .sng Compatible from m50 to Krome, but
.pcg / .sng (probably) not compatible from Krome to M50
no compatibility w/ m3 .pcg

And it is also the same that Oasys PCG files can be read by a Kronos but not vice versa.
Once an M3/M50 PCG file is translated (i.e. loaded) into a Krome and being saved it cannot be loaded again by an M3/M50.
But yes this is good news, it means one way (M3/M50->Krome) compatibiliity.

That's a great new! This and krome price list are good points to think about swapping m50 for krome
