If I try to contol another sound source via MIDI the joystick causes a major glitch if I send controller #1 from Y positive. It causes notes to cut out. If I assign that same controller to the vector joystick it doesn't cause glitching, so I know it's the joystick and not the destination sound source.
I've gone through to see if there's a conflict somewhere but I can't find any reason other than malfunction. This severely compromises the rig I've spent many hours developing.
I hope Korg addresses this problem very soon.
Joystick causes major glitch

Does your external gear by chance respond to CC2 ('Breath'), assigning it to volume?
It is possible that the joystick is 'bouncing back' and causing the low values from CC2 to be sent..
You could verify that easily just by playing with the JS-Y direction to see if it cuts out the volume. I have a similar problem with organ patches where JS-Y is set to rotor break. Flicking the joystick forwards is causing it to bounce back and stop the rotary effect.
To be fair, it's uncommon for CC2 to act as 'expression' in that way but I just thought it would be a possibility because some people do use it like this. The best 'breath control' patches would do more than just volume with CC2.. In fact often cutoff would be more appropriate and even then not the full sweep range. Anyway that's not entirely relevant..

It doesn't look good. I tried using an initialized combi and got the same glitching, while the vector joystick still does NOT cause glitching.
I'll try installing version 2. Next I'll record some joystick movement and see what it's sending. I've controlled the same sound source from several different controller models and never had a problem.
