We need more information about your setup. There are almost countless ways to combine xv3080 with KRONOS.

Tell us if you are using an external sequencer or KRONOS... studio or live play...etc

Like the way as i did with Yamaha Motif XS 6 ( Master Mode)and XV 3080 . What mode in Kronos can do that? how many ways to get that?

Plug in a midi cable and go for it, in the sequencer you set tracks to EXT, to play any external device. see page 112 of the operations manual. you can do the same in the combi mode

have fun

it would actually be better if you read the manual. That's what they wrote it for. sounds like you're coming from Yamaha machines. you need to understand all of Korg's conventions, in which case the manual would be most beneficial. the Operations Guide would be your best bet. It actually shows you some step by step procedures. for us to explain it to you would be like us rewriting the manual, instead of spending time with our Kronos.

PS- youTube has a lot of great video tutorials on a lot of those functions. You should be able to find something there also. now I am going to go back to my Kronos to enjoy it.

Hi, I answered a similar question in M50 section, please see the link. The answer might help with Kronos too, as (to my knowledge) the MSB/LSB thing works the same way.

In combo mode, you can specify whether each midi channel is transmitted Externally, internally, or both.

In combi, on the timber param tab, changed INT for EX2 under status.

You will be presented input boxes for lsb msb. Midi channel are changed there as well.

wow thanks Dniss, you let the secret out,

guess the op & I will have to read the manual now. :D :D

the korg manual set, while about 5 times thicker than the Motif manuals is better organized and easy to reference. the op should still take a look.

Glad I could help! Being fairly new at this, I don't often get the chance to do so.
:D

It's also the kind of answer I would have wanted.

am now successful to get the sound from XV 3080 by setting timble 1 to EX2, for example, i created the sound like Octave Piano combine 2 sound , one Nice piano from Roland and one from Korg and save it, the problem is when i switch to another comb then come back to Octave Piano, my comb gets no sound from Roland, what should i do then?
