Essentially very difficult to answer such a question. Throwing it back at you - what is your area of music (live, recording, covers, original...). If looking for an efficient little keyboard to add to the Kronos then for live setups probably not a bad combination; but I have to say - there's nothing in that Yamaha keyboard that the Kronos can't do a hundred time over.

I'd suggest getting a USB controller keyboard and plug it into the Kronos to give you two keyboards playing the Kronos though Combi mode (and then you have a good controller for DAW applications). Alternatively, why not look at an alternative synth type for the $500 or so - such as a minibrute or a minitarus - or a Micro Korg - to add extra edge / character to your workstation based Kronos?

As said - it all depends on your requirements. If your question is what we think of the new Yamaha, I have to say you, you can do a LOT better than that for the same money. Yamaha have reached a new low, IMO, with these latest instrument releases (when compared to their current best or their past, exquisite, synthesizers).

I think a Moog Voyager / Little or Slim Phatty is the only good addition!
