Music stand is terrible

What a bad design. All my music falls off it. Sheets of paper and even books just slide off. I need to figure out some sort of stick on fabric or rubber strip me thinks. any suggestions as I want to use it and not have a metal stand potentially scratch all the red goodness.

When I've got serious music to play, I bring a Manhasset stand. With "stand outs," you can hold four pages across. When you want to look cool, you just have to have the music memorized

Just memorize all the songs.

Yeah, not doable for church. Everything and anything can be used so memorizing would not work (unless we would stick with a specific set all the time). Most times, I show up and am given the music they decided to do at the last minute.
Now, that brings me back to my marching band days- we memorized everything. Way better to memorize- but I am getting old- and don't need to look cool- that's what my SV-1 does for me instead hahaha

Well, it looks like rubber bands will do the trick. Keeps stuff from sliding off the bottom. I need to find some black ones (or red ones).

Have you attached the supplied clear plastic strip to the front of the music stand base? I've had it attached since day one and never had any trouble...

well, there you go- I never had one so the dealer must have thrown it out. Good to know there was something made for it. So, what is this strip like? Is it tacky, soft, etc. I may try some rubberized paint as an option as the elastic bands are ghetto

It's a fairly malleable translucent plastic. Before you apply paint to thr stand, I'd suggest getting hold of Korg tech support, explain that you've just discovered your unit came without it and request you're sent one from the spares department...
