Received this tonight from Korg.com. Just downloading now.
Dear KRONOS user,

Korg is pleased to announce the release of KRONOS software version 2.0.6. This release includes all of the features of 2.0.2 (User Sample Banks, support for a second internal SSD and USB ethernet adaptors, and improved Akai and SoundFont 2.0 import) as well as various improvements and resolutions to specific operational issues. It also fixes a problem inadvertently introduced in version 2.0.5, in which the HD-1's Amp LFO1/2 AMS Intensity values were incorrectly ignored at note-on.

We recommend that all KRONOS and KRONOS X users update to version 2.0.6. This update may be installed on any KRONOS or KRONOS X, regardless of the currently installed system version; it is not necessary to install intermediate upgrades first.

The new software is free for all registered users, and is now available for download from the Operating System section at https://www.korg.com/kronosSupport. For detailed information about the improvements in 2.0.6, please see the Release Notes at the same URL.

We hope that you enjoy these improvements to the KRONOS as much as we enjoyed making them!

Best regards,

KORG

Anybody experiencing the same issues like I do?

When trying to download the update from the Korg site, IE9 crashes. I tried with 2 different PC´s (Windows 7 und XP), same result. Can´t download the update. What´s going wrong here?

Still shows version 2.05 after install.

I hope this just concerns naming and we haven't overwritten 2.05 with 2.05.

Just went through the release notes. Glad to see so many bug fixes have been implemented in a very short time span!

3 Cheers KORG team!!

Just my 2 cents - In the Release Notes, "This has now been fixed" appears for every bug fix sentence which appears to be somewhat redundant.

I didn't experience download problems at all in Safari. Of course, I jumped on it as soon as I received the email. Sometimes, with too many users attempting the download, Korg's server chokes. I haven't tried downloading with my Windows 7 and IE yet to determine if that could be an issue.

Keep at it. You'll get there.

Just after you called, it showed up in my mail and with win7-64 and firefox downloaded in a jiffy.
Never had problems here anyway.
Trying now, just to check... no problems again, just downloading right now!

You know, this isn't the first download from Korg that I've had to re-do on account of file corruption. Not sayin' it's them, but it's a bit scary.

It's probably a stretch, but it'd sure be nice if they posted a md5sum of the images with the download to make sure we're getting what we're supposed to.

Meanwhile, I'll be putting my heart back in my chest after two failed upgrade attempts from 2.02 -> 2.0.6 (one system lock, one fail on checksum during 2.0.6 updater).
