Please pleaseplease could anybody tell me how to get the files on a fmc (flash memory card) of a pa80 onto my laptop

my laptop has the slot.

I think you'll not be able to do that. But you can export the sound files that the flash card contains with "Export" function in PA-80,or make a backup of the card and then restore it in your PA-80.
