Discussion relating to all other KORG synth related products that don’t have a dedicated section. For example, OASYS PCI, M1, N Series, 01W series, T series, and more…

Korg N5ex editor windows 7 64 bit

Post by ender »

As the title says I have an N5ex and I am looking for editing software for it. The menu driven editing never really did it for me but I've been messing around and liking the results. I just wish it was easier to do.

I am running windows 7 64 bit currently and all I'm finding are 32 bit programs that don't play well at all with 64 bit. I know the synth is old (original owner bought it on release) but it still sounds great. Low cost or free would be better since I'm in no position for a major purchase unfortunately.

I'm not very familiar with 64 bit systems if there's an emulator I could run as a shell to use the original editing software then that would work as well. I would have to run it in some sort of 32 bit win95 compatibility environment.

One last question, is there a way to make the buttons easier to push? As the unit has gotten older I really have to mash the buttons to get them to work.

Thanks for the help in advance! E
