Post by drdk »

Anybody know how to merge percussion samples or assign keys for different percussion loops and samples to make customized drum kit in Korg pa3x.

Thanks

This is surely possible. When a loop is sliced the different samples of the loop are saved in the memory with the sample name and a slice number. Each sample saved can then be used/assigned to make a drum kit.

As mentioned when a loop is loaded /sliced and then saved the different samples of the loop are saved in the RAM with the sample name and a slice number. These samples are available to make sounds or drum kits.

In order to make a drum kit I suggest you read the Pa3X Advance Edit Manual (download from the korgpa.com website) Page 58-60. It is difficult to write all the steps here but basically in Drum Kit Edit Mode when you press a key the assigned sample appears which can be changed to any other user sample etc. There are many parameters that you con control.

Hope that the above helps.

Cheers
