Does anyone know a way to reset Kaossilator 2 ?

It worked for a couple of weeks, didn't even use it much, then it just stopped powering on. About every 5th time I try, it will briefly start to light up and then die. It was never dropped, bumped, or anything; I've swapped batteries and still nothing. It was bought the end of November as a Christmas present or id just send it back.
Any ideas?

exactly the same here - the best reset is the rubbish bin.

Even if you don't have the receipt, manufacturers are often very sympathetic when it comes to a unit that suffers from "infant mortality" as effectively it was never fit for purpose. Try contacting Korg if you can't sort it out. The Kaossilator 2 is a pretty new unit, I'd imagine that even the oldest ones would be only just out of warranty.

Hi KevinVs,
the best I could get mine to do for a week was the bpm light would flash but nothing -
I removed the batteries for a couple of days - plugged the very same batteries back in this morning and it works - which seems insane.
I remember when I first got this unit i was pretty annoyed at the poor on-off button and couldn't believe somebody would whack that on for something this expensive - its tamagotchi territory.
If that doesnt work for you - I was then going to try a a power adaptor.
I'll let Neil young have the final word -

Hey I had a problem where the internal mic would just stop working or record in an extremely low volume. I called Korg and he advised a reset. I did it once worked fine for a few days then had to do it again. You hold the function button while powering the device on. Hope that helps. If it doesn't I would call Korg. They said they would swap mine out even though I bought i over a month ago from Amazon. Good luck
