Korg Radias Editor - Why do I need a CD to install it?

Hi all

I downloaded the Korg Editor for the Radias but couldn't install it on my MacBook Pro with OS10.6, it just gave an error in the end.

I thought that should be due to using a recent OS, so I thought I'd just install the editor on my old iMac G5, with OS10.4.
I tried to do that now, but it says I need a CD to install the editor...

What's the point in making the editor install available on the internet if I need a CD to install it?
Is there no editor install available that doesn't need a CD?

Unfortunately I don't think I have that CD with me to be able to install the editor, but was really looking forward to that...

Any help would be fantastic :)
All the best

Paulo

Is it asking for the OSX CD?

It's possible that it won't help then. It's asking for that because the editor is old PowerPC Code and needs Rosetta (PowerPC to Intel translator thingy) installed to run older software. But Apple stopped supporting it after Snow Leopard I think.

Awww.. I'm thinking of changing from Windos to MacOS and purchase an iMac soon. Does this means that I won't be able to use the Radias editor on it?

I'm using it.. but I'm on Snow Leopard.

I was thinking of getting a new mac soon. I'm pretty sure the 2.0 editor is intel mac compatible actually.

It's a bit confusing because the download on the download page for the editor is actually the 1.0 editor! to get the 2.0 editor you have to download it bundled with the 2.0 OS upgrade. So try that..
