TUTORIAL FILE PDF
Loading TRITON.PCG onto your Krome:
1. After downloading the .zip file from our website, it will need to be unzipped.
2. After unzipping the download, you will see a file in the newly created folder named TRITON.PCG. Copy the TRITON.PCG file onto your SD (max. 2 GB) or SDHC card (max. 32 GB).
 Note: SDXC cards are not supported.
3. Put the card into your Krome, and press the MEDIA button.
4. If you are not already on the “Load” tab, touch “Load” on the bottom of the screen.
5. Touch “TRITON.PCG” to highlight it, and then touch the “Load” button.
6. Verify that “Load TRITON.SNG too?” is not selected, and then touch “OK”.
7. The screen will briefly display, “Now writing into internal memory.” When this message disappears, loading has completed.
To access these sounds, press the PROG button, then press the BANK F button. The first sound you will see is “A000 Super Grand”. Note that these sounds will be retained even if you turn off your Krome’s power, so you do not need to repeat this process every time you turn on your Krome.

You should give thee a whirl. The sounds dont match the Krome presets for richness and complexity but they do sound like a differnent synth and for a while there it was like trying out a Triton in the music shop all those years ago. Got that nice Korg 90's sound to them.
Nice set and you cant knock the cost!!

Hello to all.
Hey here, there are free samples for everyone.
But someone shares this set file Triton? What are your impressions?

Andrea.

I'm not so happy. Some interesting tones, but they do appear to have overwritten all of the custom tones I had in bank F.

Does anyone know how to reverse this, or have I lost all of my old tones?

Also, am I a complete n00b or has anyone else had this problem?

Disappointed with Best of Triton sounds for Krome, having owned a Triton pro some years back the range of sounds I recall was much more diverse even though the resolution and quality of the Krome clearly surpasses the Triton. The free ones I downloaded seem OK but rather bland compared with those in the Krome or even the M3 PCG files.

Still as it was free, can't really complain. Had to move my bank F sounds first though, to avoid overwriting them.

I am reprogramming my Krome to incorporate more orchestral programs and combis. I have a PC3 Kurz but always seeking out better or different orchestral acoustic sounds.

The Triton offered a "Studio" set and others where there were boards with quite a lot of usable orchestral sounds. Later, these were incorporated into other models. Some of the Krome programs and combis have very good orchestral sounds, but not enough of them in my view. Few of the sax's inspire me.

I have made good sax programs on both a Tyros 2 and M3 , so it I will have to try sampling my files to PCG and then transferring them to the Krome, which will take time.

I have a Triton Rack as well as the Triton bank in my Krome 61. When I compare similar patches, I can detect no difference whatsoever in the sounds. They didn't necessarily port the sounds I would have, but they ones they did sound as good as the originals to me.

Drum tracks?

Are you folks finding any drum tracks that are included with the samples? I don't get any drum sounds and I couldn't see anywhere on the screen that indicated they were included - - but I'm a newbie and might not be doing something to activate the drum tracks, or I might have had a bad download.

The patches didn't come with Drum Tracks. I think I recall reading that prior to downloading them.
