I see ones advertised on eBay for both Triton and Trinity, so I think it should work. Again, anyone replaced their factory floppy drive with a PC drive???
Thanx!!! JP

Just wanted to resurrect this thread to get an answer. Will any old PC floppy drive fit into (and work for) a Triton Classic? No "calibration" or drives needed? Mine's busted and you can practically get a PC floppy drive for free nowadays...Thanks!johnnypro wrote:I just replaced the Floppy on my Trinity Plus with one out of an old PC. Can I do that with my Triton Classic??? Anyone out there done that??? Beuller??

Hi. Have you installed the standard PC disk drive in your Triton yet? Did it work without any hitches?johnnypro wrote:I bought one, but my Triton's at my rehearsal space. I will try and install the drive soon and report back here. jp
Replaced my broken floppy drive with an old PC drive and after a few cleaning runs, it worked like a charm. I was able to update and reload the factory files. I also successfully saved files to itjohnnypro wrote:I just replaced the Floppy on my Trinity Plus with one out of an old PC. Can I do that with my Triton Classic??? Anyone out there done that???
