Hi guys,
I've been reading around the forums & can't find any info on this.

I just purchased a Kaossilator & a Kaoss pad from Japan & need power adapters so i can get juice to them.

I've found a couple of options of ebay, but i'm skeptical. I don't want to do any damage to my new pads. Can i damage them using an incorrect power adapter? Can anyone from Australia chime in & let me know their thoughts?

Thanks guys,

I am Australian and also bought my Kaossilator and KP3 from japan.

If yours are like mine then the Kaossilator only needs an socket adapter because it can accept 240V it just has the wrong pins.

For the KP3 I was thinking about going down the whole ebay power supply route but didn't want to wait. I went jaycar and blew $70 on a laptop power supply that suited it.

You can damage the pads if there is to much voltage going into them. Say if your had 24V power supply instead of 12V.

The ones you have linked to should both work fine and not damage the KP3. If you wanted to double check you could get a multimeter and test the voltage when you receive them.
Personally I would not have any concerns buying either of them.

Thanks for the info.
I ended up canceling the ebay orders (i used the overseas suplier) after i spoke to the local Korg distributor here in Australia.

He sent me two "official" AC adapters for $50 a piece. They don't look very official, but at least it was from a trusted source.
