Changing Octave on bass of pa800 without affecting style

Post by mikeynyuk »

I need to raise my manual bass part by an octave, which I can do in the tuning screen. The problem is that when I do this and stop playing manual bass, the style plays the bass groove an octave higher. I was driving my pa800 from a 76 note and noticed this problem. Well, I have switched to a PA3x and now I really need to solve this problem as I have the 76 built into the one keyboard. I posted it in PA3x but no one seems to have an answer. This is also a problem in the pa800 and pa2x so I thought I would post it here as this area seems to have more users for now.

Can anyone help, or is this just a glaring oversight by Korg? i am baffled, why would Korg think I want a super low E when playing manual bass, I should have the option to change this option without totally messing the style up when I turn manuall bass off
