I'll get things started here with a poll. Which one is your favorite? I'll vote for Volca Keys.

I'll go with Keys, but it's bloody hard to pick between them.

Sharp.

They all kinda have something going for them. I think that was Korg's intention - so you buy them all.

I really want the Volca Bass.
The other two are less interesting to me. Always prefered sampled drums and have plenty of more powerful polysynths, but love programmable acid basslines and such.

Totally agree. The least interesting for me is the Volca Beats. I might get the Volca Keys in addition to the Bass, though

I have to admit to being drawn initially to the Volca Bass but the fixed filter setting (well, admittedly the non-18dB filter) along with the lack of per-step accent shifted my inclination toward the Beats.
Don't get me wrong, I do like the Bass quite a bit and I like the fact that Korg have included yet another vintage filter design in their arsenal! I'll probably end up getting at least the Beats and Bass if not all 3 since, for the price, you don't even
have to pick a fave!
Cheers!

I'd pick keys, since it's nice to have Polyphony in such a small package, and it looks like there's a little more to work with soundwise. But I agree with cynkh. They're cheap enough to not really need to have a fave.
I'd love to have them work with the MS-20 as well.

I already pre-ordered the beats, and I will probably get the keys as well. Beats is prabably the closest I'll ever get to getting my hands on an 808. I'm really excited about these, and the price makes them imposable to pass up.

Initially only wanted the Beats but the Keys sound so good, better than I thought. Bass is very good and I don't care it doesn't try to be a 303, its a new bassline machine for 2013.
We'll all end up buying all of them TBH, because they are affordable enough. So whats best, buy all three at once or one at a time?

I pre-ordered the volca bass and beat's, will get the key's but it was my least needed, as the microkorg XL does analogue emulated lead's quite well, it seems the analogue low end that is hard to emulate.
EDIT- just pre ordered the keys now to after persuading the wife lol, now the massive long wait

i was hoping this wasn't the case. a volca bass would be much cheaper than a x0xbox but the accent is pretty important.
i won't be able to decide until i try them out at the music store.
