N1 & N5ex difference?

Post by The Magic Hoof »

Is the soundset exactly the same on both? I'm looking at the N1/N5 manual and the patches are either different between the two, or they're just re-ordered. But it might be that the N5 and N1 have different (ordered) soundsets and the N1 and N5ex version are 100% exactly the same, ordering included.

I think on the N1 there's a bunch of GM sets and so on so I'm not sure if those are in the N5ex. As far as the physical differences, the N1 is 88 weighted keys and the N5ex is 61 plastic keys. And I think the N5ex might not have an extra set of outputs.

Are there any other differences besides that?

There is 6 mb extra rom for a piano patch. Also there are two extra outputs on the N1. I know it, I have one..... :D
