I am planning to buy pa600. what is the difference between 600 and 600QT? I am also willing to use INdian styles and sound...are these going to be compatible with the keyboard?.. how can I download indian styles and sounds??

Pa600QT (Quarter Tone) version contains all the functionality of the standard Pa600, and adds a mini-keyboard on the left side, which can be used to customize quarter tone scales and quickly access scale presets. Along with all the Sounds and Styles that are found on the standard Pa600, The Pa600QT also contains additional Sound and Style data that is specific to Middle Eastern music genres. Ouds, bouzuks, kanouns, various percussion instruments, and many more sounds are joined by dozens of extra Styles that are suitable for traditional and modern music.

I recently went through the same decision process and decided to buy PA600. The manual is the same and I did not see anything which I needed missing on PA600 for which I would need PA600QT - justfiy the additional cost.

Your requirements may be different.
My requirements were

Playing Indian Classical Music (Carnatic and Hindusthani) and Old Film Melodies. I am still waiting for an update on the PA600 Indian Styles and Sounds created by Hitesh of Furtodas Mumbai, India. I exchanged some mails with him more than 2 months ago (before I purchased the keyboard).

In the interim, I was able to get a link from this forum for PA500 Indian Styles and Sounds. They loaded almost fine and I would rate them as OK -- but might serve as a basis for creating what I need to create. Plenty of work for me to do there.

So far Korg has many features but generally the few sounds which I needed are below my expectations. For example, Flute, Bansuri, Santoor, Tambura etc. Out of the box there is no basic Indian Taals which is present even in a under $300 Yamaha and Casio keyboards. But I am hoping that I can eventually create what I need.

Yes. The standard version of pa600 comes with a DVD that has turkish/arabic world collection; same as the qt version.

The difference between the 2 is the qt has the quarter tone buttons, and pre loaded middle Eastern styles and sounds that are different than what's on the dvd.

I bought the qt only because that the was the only one the store I was in had in stock. I never use those features.
