My KORG M50 61 hung up yesterday while playing. I tried turning off the power and then turning it on again; but it did not work. I also tried resetting it by holding the "Realtime Controls" and "Reset Controls" buttons as described in the owner's manual and then turning the power on. The system displayed the "Initializing Memory" message but again hung up in between. Then I tried reinstalling the OS (Version 1.1.0) by rebooting it from the SD Card as described in the KORG Website, but it too produced no result. Now when I start my M50, the start up screen appears with the message "Loading OS Failed". The butons don't work, the notes don't sound and the touchscreen does not respond too.
Is there a way to reinstall the OS and reboot the M50 by connecting it to a computer via USB? I shall be extremely grateful if someone can provide me with a solution. The serial no. of the Keyboard is 026919 (Made in CHINA) and I had bought it one year back. Further, is there any India specific KORG Customer Care contact number?
I am in deep trouble. Please help.

Hi Jharna,
I had a similar problem a few days ago, the bad news is that this is a factory defect unfortunately and there is no way you can fix this by yourself.
The good news is that you can send it to any korg service and they will fix it for free. They fixed my m50 in less than a day, so it's not something to panic over...
