From what I've read, there's a maximum number of characters you can put in the saving path.

Try saving to a single folder, see if it works.

The names that matter are those of the .SNG file, and the names of any directories enclosing the file. The names of the songs themselves do not matter.

The Operation Guide has a list of all the error messages displayed on the KRONOS, usually with suggestions to remedy the error condition. Here's the entry for "Unable to save file:"

Unable to save file
Meaning: When saving a file in Disk mode, the save destination path exceeded 76 characters.
Meaning: When sampling to disk, the save‐destination path for the WAVE file exceeded 76 characters.
• Rename the file and/or directories so that the file path fits within 76 characters. This includes the file name and the names of all parent directories up to the root level of the disk.

The easiest way to do this is to store the file one level down from the root of the disk, in a directory with a short name (e.g. My Songs), with a reasonably short name for the .SNG file. Note that the audio tracks are all named and filed automatically - in Disk mode, do not change their names or the names of their automatically-created enclosing folders!

Hope this helps,

Dan
