He probably has 6 Kronos stuck in a box for such an eventuality.
I don't have enough room in my Jeep to carry a spare, let alone buy another Kronos.
Sorry but it was just pure sarcasm. Eventually, sometime maybe I will get over it. :( Will now enjoy my inferior M3 XP with it´s superior piano roll editor. ;)

(Thx Ojustaboo for understanding my frustration.)

Shhh... Listen! Do you hear it? Is that the wind picking up? No? Perhaps it's the incessant sound of the Kronos Fan - Boy, it can be pervasive (i hear there's a fix for that though)

Kronos 88. If you think about it, and think about it, and think about it some more (take your time) is it all you really need to get over?

The Kronos 88 and the fan. Is it a fan or a faraway tornado ? If you think about it, its all you need to get blown away

...comes and goes, they can't be all gems. Glad I dropped by to see you in top form as always, you're a sparkplug on these forums for sure Mr C ;)

I loved the image of being blown away by a faraway tornado... priceless! I once had a cyclonic incident with a fartaway tomato, not really the same thing but the carnage was horrific. Last time I'll ever eat the ex's chili!!!

one day we must knock off a bottle of wine and create some ad copy for Korg.

We can up the ante on that dusty ' game changer ' bit . Saxifraga can be a star since the Kronos has been a ' life changer '

...and for the Kronos guys who never come up out the studio it's a potential "wife changer".

possibilites are better when mated to reliability

the kronos was called a game changer
no run-of-the-mill work arranger
though forum threads turned salty
with "this and that's faulty"
sales numbers were not thought in danger

for this box was chock full of potential
with synths both workhorse - and existential
its' sonic abilities
and karmic agilities
made it a purchase essential

or so said the faithful first buyers
"not so" said some music shop tryers
"this action feels lumpy
and seems kinda dumpy
on a flagship designed for high flyers"

if customer service had listened
while kronos' rep had still glistened
if they'd not been so proud
to tune out the loud
and instead just manned up their position…

nothing's toxic as deafening stillness
when "addressing" a new kronos' illness
pulling out "numbers"
dreamed up in their slumbers
brings out the uncoolest of chillness

when product support's on defensive
it makes the consumer more pensive
some say "it's their style"
others say "screw the guile"
some just find it downright offensive

i've been a korg meister for ages
since manuals shipped out on pages
but if i buy a synth
for my muse labyrinth
the seller is earning my wages

by being up front when they're needed
not putting out vibes that scream "beat it -
we'll speak when you're spoken to
ya we know yours is broken too"
these firms are soon superseded

and left off my radar
maybe for good
plenty of options
in the musical hood

make quality control
your number one goal
make me love kronos
with my heart and my soul

until then i'll stick with
the micro key line
solid, great sound
and a rockin' good time

Absolut brilliance.

Is this partly OASYS inspired ?

I believe in giving credit where due

Why, thanks Mr C. But to answer your query: Nope - OASYS was apparently built to Sherman Tank specs. Perhaps you are reading unintentional references into my little ditty due to the genetic similarities between the two beasties. If I'd had something to add about OASYS, you know I'd have tossed in a line or two ;)
