Hi - has anyone had experience with EXB Moss copies? I contacted a seller on eBay to ask if the Moss board he had for sale was an original Korg manufactured one and he has told me 'no it is duplicated in California USA'.

Wondering if it would perform the same as original.

Sounds like total BS. Now maybe if it was created in China...

Let's say it does work, which it probably wont, then someone else has pirated and is capitalising on Korg's R&D. Not only that, it could do harm to the synth's internal electronics, or anything.

Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole personally.

Ok - this is the auction (link below) - which has expired now. The reason I asked the seller was it was just advertised as EXB Moss - not Korg EXB Moss and he was quite emphatic that is was a copy. No mention of a manual etc.

The same seller has had others advertised in the past.

I'd steer clear of anything that isn't advertised as genuine!
