I turned on the keyboard today and all of the songs that I had in song book plus the factory ones are gone. I sure hope I don't have to go back and redo all of them. RC

I am going to post here again to see if any person replys. I had a total of 63 songs sequenced and placed in songbook. I also had these songs listed in and placed in the custom list. When I turned on the keyboard the other day they were all gone. As it is now I am not that happy with the Pa3x. Moving around on this keyboard is a chore. My question is has this happened to anyone else and can anyone help me? I know I should have backed up the songs but I did not. I have the songs in Hd but the STS sounds are not there. That means I would have to go back and reload all 63 songs and redo the sounds and settings. I never hit the erase file or any thing so my Question is to anyone WHERE IN THE H--L DID THEY GO?

Thanks for trying to help, you are the only one that has tried. I did not create a new list. I am sickened over this , loosing 63 songs,. I have had the Pa3x for approx one year. I also have a Kn7000 technics.I have owned technics ever since they came out and have had different models. In a week or so I am going to give my thoughts on the Korg and the sequencer functions on both keyboards. Thanks again I guess there is nothing I can do but I sure would like to know what caused this. I feel so disgusted over this I don't feel like playing this keyboard right now.

You're very welcome. Sorry there's no apparent answer. Probably the reason others were not quick to jump in is this could have been avoided with 15 seconds spent making a back-up. Computer and keyboards with computers inside are very deterministic devices. They do what we tell them to do most of the time. Today I had a similar "problem" ... I spent the better part of an hour composing a word document. I printed it out and then had to leave to take care of a pressing issue for a client. Got back several hours later and found there had been a power outage. My document was gone. Just a click or two of the mouse and I would have had it safe on the drive. Cest la vie!

I tried to think of an answer, but apparently it is a "computer" glitch. I haven't heard of this happening before. It did make me back up my stuff again though.

It’s probably a forlorn hope but, you could try moving the offending songbook from your keyboard, to your computer, and then open it in the songbook editor, just to see if the missing songs are merely hidden and not lost altogether.
