You Tube PA3x shyness?

Firstly I say that it will be around two months before I am able to purchase my first Korg PA keyboard. Until then I am reading and re-reading the PA3x manual.
I have been watching PA3x You Tube videos. Initially this was all available videos but after a couple of weeks I just cannot stand watching (hearing) any more videos that are solely of middle Eastern origin. I am not criticising their performances in any way other than that my ear is not attuned to their modal scales.
That said, I am very disappointed that PA3x performances from native English speaking performers, from any location, are virtually absent. I hope that my words are not misinterpreted as they refer to modal issues not ethnic ones.
I'm thinking that here I am about to make a financially significant purchase yet this product does not appear to have global support enough to anyway match videos posted from its nearest competitor namely the Tyros 4.
I do look forward to reading and hopefully hearing much more about this topic.

I understand where you're coming from. I do play middle eastern music, and we LOVE the PA3X haha. :p
Regardless, you can start here:

Mate I know exactly how you feel. It got me so sad I thought about selling and buying a tyros 4. But when it came to crunch I couldn't sell it and it inspired me to make some videos. I'm not really a good player but have a listen to some songs on YouTube by me.
I'm glad I didn't sell. You won't be disappointed mate.

Hi Ian
Try Don Mason, he posts as DonM on this forum and the Synthzone Forum, he's a fine example.

Hi Ian. I know what you mean. Sorry I havn't got any YouTube videos but hers a couple of mp3s if you are interested. All done one-take live using pa3x and inbuilt vocal effects.
This one shows off nylon guitar and strings. The first minute is just me playing while a midi file kicks in after 60 sec

Hi Ian,
You could also check my soundcloud, (link is under this message), there's some tracks with the Pa3x played live in the "style mode". Actually that's all of them (except the Blunt-Cry one, those where from the Roland-days - which is over). Believe me, you're well on your way to getting the IMO BEST arranger on the market so far..

Enjoy the music..

Forgive me if I have got this all wrong!!!!, but are you the singer on the Soundcloud demos or just the PA3x player? I ask this because I am amazed by the high quality of the voice performances.

Col,
Thanks for that link. I had listened to him before and I hope that I will have the courage someday to post similar performances. Its unfortunate that his sound recordings have digital distortion.

Ian;
I only sing 2 numbers on there, and lay the backing vocals. The leadsinger performances are made by my girlfriend, who's singing in our duo.. So I should thank you on her behalf for the compliment.

I have been considering buying an arranger keyboard and put together my own play list of many Pa3X YouTube videos Ready to watch broader in scope than what you might have come across. I have my playlists arranged by different brand names of keyboards like Ketron Audya Yamaha Tyros Roland etc. Below is the one I made for a wide variety of Korg Pa3x (and a few pa2x) samples. I hope this link to my playlist on my YouTube channel works for you. I made this list so I could research comparisons.

If the link does not work you can go directly to my YouTube channel called HalUnlimited via my signature link and go to my playlists section and look up KORG Pa3X from among all my other play lists. Good luck. I've decided to wait for the successor to the Tyros 4 to come out (within a year I expect) before I make my decision to buy.
