PA3X with TC Helicn Voice Works - not working properly

Hi everyone,

I'm plaing on Korg PA3X 76 keys, operating system 1.6. at the moment. Unfortunatelly I need to use with externat TC Helicon becouse I use 3 vocals on the same presets (PA3X supports only 1 vocal).

The previous instrument I had - Roland G-1000 worked perfectly with midi TC Electronics Helicon Voice Works. Unfortunatelly Pa3x is not, there are some problems that cannot cope.

The point is that the controllers recorded on 16 track (assigned outside TC Helicon) reacts, but also changes the setting of Helicon, which have been recorded, for example - the input sensitivity. A similar situation I observed with the styles which is also change the settings of external Helikon.

I do not know how to get rid of. Please help.
Maybe some of you use that configuralion?

Hi Art Rokz,

Try to use some filters at MIDI OUT.

Go to GLOBAL then MIDI then FILTERS and use the folowing midi filters:

1- Program Chance
2- System Exclusive
3- All Control Change Messages

You can see the PA3X reference manual on pages 212 and 213.

Just for your information:-

PA3X has a bug relating to MIDI out messages

Even if all MIDI CC OUT is disabled on the PA3X, it still sends messages when switching from one mode to another.

This may not affect you but thought it was worth mentioning...
