One more update and still no correction for vocal processor problems.... Korg what are you waiting for ? pa3x is your flagship keyboard and it seems abandoned......

I could say some bugs of PA3 that are not fixed but will not do that

...
Update like this one , Korg Italy can make every day (1.63 , 1.64 ...) just numbers

:):) ...
Other question for Korg Italy - when will update its
Computer Sequencer Templates (v.1.00)
??? ....

Are those 11 sounds using new waveforms or only new parameters with already present waveforms (which would be greater for PA600 owners) ? Is it possible for someone to export these 11 sounds in a bank and post it so that we can try to use it on PA600 for example ?
More than the computer sequencer templates update , I'd prefer a cool full sounds, perfs and styles librarian for our PA.

I am using my custom resources on pa3x ( replaced some factory styles with mine) . Is it safe to restore .bkp from 1.60 OS/RES to new 1.62 ? In this BACKUP case I completly restore my .SET

Battery Charging has "been optimised" under 1.62. Whatever that means.

Vex , since you have modified Factory resources , then your work can be saved only as full BKP backup.
Therefore as first update OS , and then make your custom BKP restoration , in case that some replaced factory
resource places have been restored again by new OS !
BKP file isn't involved in OP & firmware , and doesn't really matter if it was created by older OS !
By the way , seems obvious that this OS release has been made just to serve Pa600/900 compatibility !

Noticed two things with update.
1) Maxx settings are saved with Save All but not loaded with the new OS nor loaded with Load.
2) My Assignable Switch setting (Text Page Down for 3) was not saved at all.

What are the problems?

Hi. The problems on vocal processor are intermittent. Sometimes the problem is there sometimes not. One of the problems is the vocal pitch correction stay on and cannot be turned off. even if we de-click de marker on pitch correction (vocal processor setup page) it will stay on even after keyboard restart. And is more noticible after the use of hard tune effect. The harmonizer also sometimes does not do the correct harmony notes using chord recognition. I had pa1x pa800 and pa2x and the harmonizer was flawless... It works well on scale mode. Maybe some off you did'nt notice this problems because they are intermittent... And it's not my keyboard because i tested several keyboards and they all do the same. When this problems happens i also notice a certain lag on the vocal sound... more noticeable if i use headphones. please korg... make this a priority... i bet you would sell even more keyboards.... pa3x is allmost perfect.

Hi All
Does every new update include all of the previous enhancements and resources or if we missed something, then we should load in order from the earliest update to current to ensure we have all that was released.
Thanx and appreciated

There could also be a hardware failure of your PA3X: I often use the vocal processor, switching on and off various effects (filters, harmonizers, pitch correction), and I've never had troubles: can you give us some instructions on how to reproduce the problem?

I'm sure you do something specific to get this failure, because you can make it appear even on the keyboards of your friends.
If you could describe what are the operations that put the problem I'm sure Korg Italy could find it and correct it.

As stated in the documentation, the current 1.62 version includes all changes and resources produced so far: after the update and the backup is essential to do a Factory Restore.

Hi
I have also written about the vocal processor issues.
Not sure how to replicate but at times when we switch harmonies off and panel indicator led is off, the harmonies are still heard.... same with other functions withing the harmony processor.
thanx

Hi Reuben,
Reuben wrote:1) Maxx settings are saved with Save All but not loaded with the new OS nor loaded with Load.
Try to restart the Pa3X. Maybe Maxx settings were not correctly recognized.
Reuben wrote:2) My Assignable Switch setting (Text Page Down for 3) was not saved at all.
Assignable Switch settings have to be saved into Performance 1-1 to be effective at the next boot. Try to save them there.
Best regards,
Paolo
