I installed m50 editor to the pc, ran the usb to my mid tower (windows 7). How can I export my .sng files to DAW or MIDI? I would like to record my work to the pc and somehow get a .WAV file to listen in my car or another person's studio without bringing the board, just to hit the start/stop on my sequences and songs.

Thanks in advance too :)

Not an expert here, but I dont think the DAW would recognize .SNG sequences. There is a option to save your sequence as a .MID file. Try doing this, and then using your SD card to import the same into your DAW. Now you will have MIDI data in your DAW. The MIDI tracks should be setup to play from the M50 (which is still connected via USB to the PC), and not from some other MIDI device. Now create audio tracks, and record the sequence's audio data. At this point the M50 audio out should be connected to a Audio Interface that is connected to your PC. In case you dont have an Audio Interface, then maybe the Line-In of your PC's sound card will do.

With a Korg M50 the machine itself is a DAW. A pc can't play sng files the same way the M50 does.
You should connect the audio jacks to the line input on your computer and record the track. Then save it to wav or MP3 and then you can listen to it anywhere.
I use Wavepad. That's free software (for personal use). Use google to find it.
