Is there any other method other than going into global in order to go up or down a few semi tones? New band I'm with is playing tunes I know in different keys. Easier to transpose rather than learn new key signatures. I'm just looking for a quicker means to do this.
I read where full octave shifts can be assigned to controllers but not semitones.
Thanks

If you are using combis you can set the transpose parameters for each program in the combi and then save it. Just create a different combi for each song. That way each combi will be preset the way you want it every time. You can also set transpose in sequencer mode the same way.
If you are playing programs you can set the transpose parameter for each oscillator and save it too.

I have had luck in the past for combis (and just tried for a program before writing this), with this:
Select your combi or program. On the screen touch the Tone Adjust button (lower right).
In there you will find several options for transposing. If a combi you will have to select which instrument(s) in the combi you want to adjust.
