Kudos To Korg!

I have to hand it to Korg as they treated me like I am their top priority even over the bottom line. My PA600 had a defective joystick as the pitch bend stopped working. I took it in to an authorized repair and after 2 weeks Korg told them they did not have the wiring harness that connects the joystick. Korg suggested that they hard wire the joystick to the keyboard and that is what they did. I got the board back and after 2 days, the joystick had the same problem. By the way, the tech told me that the factory put too little slack into the wires and every time I used the joystick it would put a little stress on the soldering points. So that is what caused the soldering joints to fail. So to wind this down, I called Korg and told them I felt I should be swapped for a new board and they called back and agreed. I have to send back everything as I will be getting a sealed new board with all contents. I was concerned about shipping my board from Washington state to New York and the cost, but they are sending me a prepaid label so my cost is nothing. You might say they owed me this and I would agree, but we all know businesses that would refuse to pay shipping back of the defective product. So kudos to Korg!
