Couldn't resist...

I'd seen all kinds of "How to " questions before but this one was definitely new for me.

Don't think that would be possible mate... (Would be a cool feature though, perhaps it would be made in 20 years from now.. )

You could make a multitrack wave-file into midifiles though, that way you can import to a style - however thats a VERY big work.. Why just not buy the style you need, or create yourself from scratch?

You need a "back to future Time Machine" for this.

It is not that it's impossible, just not probable. If you could find a 3rd party program that could accurately convert an MP3 file to multi-channel MIDI you might be able to pull it off. As I understand the current technology, MP3 to MIDI conversion programs have not been all that useful.

The basic thing to understand here is that Styles are created from performance aka 'digital' data, not 'analog' data. Styles can be relatively easily made from the performance data contained in MIDI files.

MP3 to MIDI? Hmmmm.. makes my head hurt thinking about it.. if I ever get a client asking me this, I'd pay them to leave my studio at once.
