Hi Pete

from all the searching i've done... I don't think there are any.

Will be very dissappointed if this is primarily covering all that is already apparent cos the manuals does cover basic to intermediate. From the site and the dvd listings, Daniel does cover beginner stuff (out of box and simple startup) but i hope these 3 dvds don't dwell on the basics tooo much.

Thanx

I thought Mr. Watt already had some instructional DVDs out? Are these NEW or the old ones? :? He really should You Tube some examples...and not just the basic beginner stuff. Looking foreward to your review, Veren.

Hi Veren,

Think the DVD`s you have ordered are basic stuff, I have them and also the Jame`s Last DVD which is very good, you would be better off with the DVD for the Music Finder (Songbook) I believe is out now. ATB. jackoj.

Hi Guys

I have sent mails to Daniel and so far only got response for the first mail.

Questions posed have had no response as yet ...he is most probably busy as he seems to have many things going on. ...see his website.

Will keep you posted

The DVD's are good for a beginner with the pa3x. I'm only talking about the 3 original disks. Daniel gives lots of info about getting around the OS system but even he admits there are some things he doesn't use.
I really wanted more info on making samples but there is little there.

Thanks for the feedback Baz

This type of information is a great help to those intending to buy an unseen, untried product.

Cheers

Well that's a good idea. If DW is interested, He could keep us informed on what any new work contains. I would be very interested in in-depth sampling procedures and a step by step instruction on how to go about loading.
If there is already some, I would appreciate being pointed in the direction.
Just an example, I want to do a style of the pushbike song but I need to make the vocal oohs and aahs. I need a kickstart.

Hi Guys

So far i got response regarding the payment and that my dvds were posted but no response to questions about the depth of the content....beginning to believe that there was no updates etc and this will be same as some users advised confirming its really basic.

Will keep all posted

Hi All

I have received my dvds however:

-No reponse was received wrt dept of content to date.
-No response received wrt CD mentioned on website.
-Very Very Basic tutorial which will surely be a waste of money effort and time for many if not all.
-Website states every screen of 3X is covered with practical examples of how to use....the entire record buttons functions are appologetically left out as it was apparently too extensive and due to the fact that DW only had his 3X for about 2 months, he says that he could not cover that and it will be covered on later dvds...these original dvds were done in 2011....still no update etc.... i don't think i would get a response if i sent a mail questioning same simply cos i got no other response apart from confirming the price and then confirming receipt of funds.....yip , take the money and run.
-Inner leaflet received with dvds states price as 20 pounds exl p&p... website now states 40 pounds exl p&p....Not really worth 5 pounds as the crux of what anybody would need as turorials is very appologetically left out.....should have been mentioned on the site and not to be revealed only after we have paid for and received the dvds.

This response is very simply and quickly said as i do not want to anger myself further with these dvds.

Truly dissappointing

Veren

So sorry you had to experience this and thank you for the feedback

It would seem that we should all be aware that these DVDs are basic and possibly not worth the money.

Cheers
