Volca KEYS - SYNC CLOCK / MIDI BIG PROBLEM

Hey Guys!

Got my Bass and Keys already (waiting for Beats) and everything was fine until today. My Volca Keys when is normal (without and sync mechanism) doesn't trigger any sequence, nothing at all. It only plays the notes that i touch on the ribbon.

If i plug the Bass CV out to Keys CV in, it triggers the sequences i recorded and everything.

If i plug MIDI In the only thing it does is send notes and the rest, but the clock isn't synced... since the TEMPO KNOB IS ALWAYS RED, not even a blink. Same with Keys unplugged to any other source, Tempo Knob Always Red.

Global Operations is OK Key 6 and 7 have Led Lit, MIDI Channel is 1 and set on 1 in ableton live (or else i wouldn't have notes being received by keys)... I'm a bit desperate.

What solutions do I have? Maybe it's faulty? But everything was just fine. I even connected back to ableton live and turned it off while playing something on the keys or so, but no MIDI reset... just nothing. :(

P.S: I think it's firmware problem. Would be cool to have the firmware and reupload to test it out.

The red tempo knob indicates there is jack plugged in the 'sync in' socket. If you have that empty, try to plug and unplug it several times, there might be problem with the internal switch. Hope that helps.

Yes it's empty, nothing in there. Well I will try that, but is there a way to clean the hole without opening it? It all seems very strange, this isn't supposed to happen lol :S

You may need a midi splitter if the Volcas don't do midi clock and voltage clock at the same time.
