a couple of good deals on Kronos

first and foremost, i am not affiliated with these dealers.

i have been shopping around for a K61 the last couple of weeks and found these....ProAudioStar has Kronos 61 B-stock with Korg factory-installed extra hard drive (SSD) and RAM for 1799/ offer. it can be had for 1700 or less includes original box and docs.

that's with a one-year Korg warranty, free shipping, and no tax. with the expansions, it's pretty much like the Kronos X, right? this is the one i just ordered.

i also looked at this.... Kronos 73, 1699.00 plus shipping at Music Go Round
Cockeysville MD. includes Korg hard shell case ! cases alone go for around 200.00 on eBay. Chris at MGR quoted 80.00 shipping to me, which is not bad considering the weight of the keyboard plus the case.

i don't know, maybe the 1699 could be even knocked down a bit. MGR does not charge tax.

i wanted a synth action board (use Triton Extreme now) as opposed to the 73's hammer action, otherwise, i would have jumped all over this.

But a question about Music Go Round, since it's all used does that mean that none of it comes warranted by anyone?

i'm not sure about MGR's warranty policy...probably varies store by store.

i got my Kronos 61 yesterday....open box in brand new condition with extra SSD and 3GB RAM....all docs. very happy.
