Initially I did the first full transfer and saved the set. Why does the editor always open in Global/Basic (Stand Alone) Also when I'm in a DAW (Live 32bit.) and open the set it does the same. I've been reading the manual but cannot find a way for it to load directly to a patch. I must be missing something along the way or is this normal? (OS 10.9 Mavericks)

And, how is the new version of he editor? Is it a complete new design, or is it an updated/improved version of the Soundquest editor?

Updated, same interface, but it seems to run a little smoother…

Ok, thanks for the info! I might give it a try in a while (studio pc is not functioning properly at the moment).

I'm getting loads of errors too. Something about not being able to find directories. If you hold return it tries to load after about 100 errors, and then crashes.

I've tried it multiple times, after re-boots, etc - same each time

Make sure you are running editor 2.1 not the old one in your task bar .

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but please check your documents folder and make sure there is a folder there named Soundquest. Initially I had deleted that folder and all things related thinking to do a clean fresh install. To my surprise the soundquest folder was not re-created after installing and I also had the errors you are mentioning. I replaced that folder from a Time Machine backup. It then opened without errors are and allowed me to do the transfer. The 2.1 installation does not overwrite 2.0 so you are left with two editors. As the post above says, make sure you drag the correct icon from 2.1 folder into your taskbar.

Thanks that was the problem.

So the 2.1 install messes up the 2.0 installation but doesn't replace it, quality!
