System Start-up Failure

My Kronos came back from the repair shop a month ago and all I have done is updated it and it worked fine. Went to use it tonight and it says System start-up Failure.
I have disconnected any usb stuff and restarted it more than a dozen time but it still won't work. Have not moved it just switched it on and still no luck,
Any ideas please help?

I'm very sorry that you're having difficulties. The first step is to contact your national Korg Distributor (see the link in my signature); they should be able to help.

System Startup Faliure
Can this be caused by a duff SSD
Or Memory

Could it be the internal clock error

You certainly seem to be unlucky!
Good luck with a quick fix.

Just got mine back from service centre after similar boot up fail.
The repair note said the internal clock had to be reset.
Service centre installed 2.10 and upgraded SSD & RAM - it all works fine now ... though I'm concerned that I had to send it away to get the clock reset and as I'm not sure what caused it I wonder if it could happen again - however I've still another year of warrantee ...

Hi
Did your Kronos display the error message "Start-up Failed Reboot"

my message said ""System Start-up Failure - Please disconnect any USB devices and restart" "
so maybe not the same problem as you are having ...

Mine failed to boot up recently as well. My warranty is expired so I opened it up to take a look and the SSD Sata cable just simply came unplugged. Replugged it back in and it booted up normally.
