Hello from a Prospector, part II

Post by flemmings27 »

Hi Forum,

This is entitled part II b/c I said my initial hello back in June when I first joined and was looking into Korg Kronos; life intervened and I wasn't able to buy back then, but now I'm in the market again. After some hands-on comparisons last night of Kronos X, Yamaha Motifs, MOX's, Nords, and some decent Midi controllers that came up in another thread I've posted in the Kronos forum, I've decided to pull the trigger on a Kronos X. So I will be on this board in future reading for knowledge and asking for help. Hi everyone!

But I also have one question now, that I hope you have some advice for. Essentially, should I buy 73 or 88 keys? I have posted that question in the Kronos forum, so if you want to answer there, instead of here, here it is! Thanks in advance!

Hi

Well if budget is not a constraint and if you will not carry the kronos to places then go for the 88 keys.

But if you think it is too big then the 76. Just make a side by side pros and cons list of both of them for yourself and then pick the one that is best for you. After all you will know best your requirements

I would pick the 88 for myself.

Regards

Hi Synthplayer

Thanks for you reply; however already bought the 88; it arrived a week ago and I had a couple days to start becoming familiar with its operations before I took a holiday vacation - it's awesome!
