using a fast pc for kronos

This is a hypothetical question.
Is it possible to connect Shark usb connector to a pc and boot pc from SSD taken from kronos.
This would use the performance of a very fast desk top pc
Would the display from the computer display be ok using a sony touch screen.
Would this work hypothetically

Connecting the OASYS subsystem board (I guess that is what this »shark« board really is) to a PC and booting this PC from the Kronos SDD would probably work as long as the motherboard and CPUs of the PC are supported by the Linux kernel of the Kronos (which may very well be the case if selected carefully).
IIRC, the touchscreen and all other controls of the Kronos are directly connected to the OASYS board, so if you want to use your computer's touch screen instead of the Kronos' one, then it must have the same specs and also be connected to the OASYS board.
But what would you gain with such a set-up? Probably not too much...

Maybe we can pester Korg into re-issuing the
OASYS PCI card -- just with the new Kronos features and software. Then you would not need to disassemble your Kronos in order to merge it with your powerful PC.
I'd certainly buy one of these if it were supported under Linux (which -- seeing the lack of Linux support for other Kronos related software -- I seriously doubt to be ever available).

If you had a faulty Kronos you could use the method above to test it
