Help with assigning accomp to Dr sound

Hi,
I have one style that I want to copy the drum (a multisample I created under sound) to acc 4 of another style.
I copied it and then changed the acc 4 to Dr type, yet whenever I use chords during style play it treats it as if it i an acct and not a dr.
I checked it several times under record and it shows as Dr. Yet it shifts when I play the accord
Am I missing something. With PA2X it was done like this...
Any help please.
Thanks
Come on guys

That's all you have to do. Copy the drum or Percussion track to any Acc track, and then set that Acc track type to Drum/Perc. According to your post, you've already done that.

Nope, bc we Dont get this problem Its not a bug.
WHat OS are u on? Try reload your OS.
Try do The same thing on another style. See if gets The same problem.
Another suggestion. Make a hole New style and Then copy everthing from that style and try now to make drumkit of The acc.

You have to create a Drumkit not a multisample to assign it as Dr or Perc track !
- An ordinary multisample in common sound mode will always be treated as a acc ...
- Do not confuse time-spliced mutisamples with ordinary multisamples , in that case
refer to manual of how to create one as a SMF0.
- But if you insist to create an ordinary multisample as Dr then you have to address keymap as midi Dk
and very important , assign sound pitch to fixed mode !
- As last if you already have a working time sliced multisample in one track then if you copy it
to another track , after copying midi events , you have to assign the same sound manually ,
and then change track mode to Dk , since time sliced multisamples require to copy all midi events of track !
Hope it can help you

Antony,
I did initially assign it as sound and this multisample is already in one of the styles all I do is copy that to another style... but it does not work..
If you read from the beginning my issue from the beginning was when I assigned it to ACC4 and change type to drum, it should not have changed with chords but it does. .
So that is my issue. i tested it with another style it worked but not this particular style I mentioned..
Could anyone try one with that .. ?
My pa2x was doing this perfectly fine.. yet with this particular style it is not working
here is the images:
Thanks

Farah, I find it very strange that this happens. I will try the same style when I unpack my keyboard.
Anthony, accually you can assing a sound and then change the accomponient to DR/Perc . And they will act like dr.
Ive loaded drumkit as a soundkmp on user sound and then assinged it as a dr. on acc 1,2,3,4,5 without any problems. So I dont know this might be some strange thing happening with that style.
interresting to find out.

I know ... this is one of my fatal mistakes before 2 years, to inform users how to modify on PC user files to exchange formats !

So that is my issue. i tested it with another style it worked but not this particular style I mentioned.
- Let's begin with the possibility of a buggy style , yes this can happen and also a corrupted style with
improper code line can easily ruin your system !
- If you want to identify deeper a different issue , then clarify what this multisample is ... is it a time
sliced rhythmic drum or percussion pattern beginning from C2 ? or a simple edited multisample ?
If it's a time sliced multisample , find out if all contained samples can reproduce sound or these samples
are accessible , since time sliced drum samples created in older PaSeries aren't compatible with Pa3X
and the most of them are recreated with noisy loops or some directories are grayed out and seem to be inaccessible l
In that case , such a multisample can't be copied and works partially only under import !
Also did you check the simple measurement parity of these styles ? for instance do you try to copy
2 bars of 4/4 to 2 bars of 4/4 ?
Let us know for these tips !

Why not make it easier,
That acc that seems corrupted, instead of a custom multisample.. choose a regular user dk or ROM DK or whatever other sound.. and choose that accomponient as DR again. want to know if it interacts like that with everything.
