Hi Everyone
Got kronos back with new motherboard and it works fine but the keybed sounds as noisy as anything.
when you press a key it sounds like something is rattling under that key.
But they all rattle

And I have just had the key contacts replaced 3 months ago.

you need to have a serious talk with your service company. They should be testing your Kronos before it leaves their door. These are not complicated or ' subjective ' tasks.

You have my sincerest sympathies. But to me it sounds as if your Kronos had a screw loose somewhere....

If you crawl under your Kronos while it is sitting on its stand, do you get the impression that all holes in its bottom plate are filled with screws? Do these screws give your screw driver the feeling of being properly tightened? If you lift your Kronos carefully on the one end, do you hear something rattling towards the other end?

I once had a laptop with a loose screw inside that had come off the motherboard. Made for some interesting acoustic effects.

I have turn it over and check the screws all ok put it back on its stand no rattles. So it seems find now

Hopefully the loose screw is not now lodged somewhere up in the works. Even more hopefully it wasn't a screw at all. I hate to raise concerns but if there was a loose screw or metallic part sitting on the bottom of the case, and it it not rattling since you inverted the keyboard, I would be concerned that there is something now stuck in another part of the keyboard.

If this is the case, you would want to take action to find it before it migrates into an electrical connection or into a mechanical area.

Screw Loose

Once i had the issue that after putting the Kronos together, the small space between the front of the keys and the chassis was too small. So every time i hit a key it reaches a point where i gets contact to the chassis and produces a loud sound like "clack". This space can, in a small range, be adjusted before fixing the screws at the botton. We had this issue already here i another thread. Maybe you can take a look at this space in front of the keys.

No the kronos is still working I not touching it.
It is still covered by warranty.
