WD Mini : External audio into the looper ??

On the WDX a lot (most) of the real acoustic rim signal
can be heard at the normal outputs .
I can also play external audio into my "special" trigger input
and hear it with the headfones and at the Line Out .
Now I wonder if a Mini WD would react similar .
It might be possible to integrate external audio into an own recorded loop .
Global parameters
G4 = Clip level to zero (means no internal sound)
G5 = increase from zero up to adjust levels
signal source : line level out , headfone out , electric bass/guitar
I think everything should work
Is there sbd. who has ever tested this or would test that ???
