Website clean up - exciting or not?

Hey everyone
I notice that Korg Italy have cleaned up their
http://www.korgpa.com website.
Nothing new but I wonder if they are preparing for a great PA3X update announcement, a PC editor or even PA4X-88 with KARMA
(sorry - lapsed into a dream for a moment)
I haven't seen/heard any NAMM rumours - have you?

Yes!
New OS with more global setting capabilities for PA3X please!
Otherwise, if I would buy PA4X, I would soon look forward for PA5X...

The great surprise will be
-increasing the polyphony up to 128
- importing sf2 multi samples
- releasing a new ram board 512
- editor for .Mac/PC

Streaming samples from SSD like KRONOS, then we are talking.

A simple command to purge all unused samples would do me.

Whoops - this has turned into yet another wish-list - not intended - just wondered if anyone had heard any rumours re NAMM???
Just suspicious re the website clean up which has been long overdue…

From the User Manual ... "Note: If Sounds or Drum Kits based on external PCM samples are deleted, choose the “Delete” command from the page menu of the Sampling mode to delete the unused samples (see the “Advanced Edit” addendum in the Accessory Disk). (Page 93)

I'm still not familiar with it but it seems you have to go through the sample list and identify which sample you don't want so you can delete them. This can be a big headache not to mention very confusing.
What I wish for is all samples that you're not employing in any user performance or style can be automatically detected and deleted in one go.

It will do what you want ...

"Select “Not assigned to any Multisample/Drumkit” to delete only samples not yet assigned to a multisample or drumkit (see paragraphs on the “Multisample” section, starting from page 198)."

In that case, I'm good with my 256Mb ram.
But before I completely understand, here is an example: Say, I load a bunch of new sounds to check them out. I only like 1 or 2 which I use to create new performances.
Would I be able to use the above method to delete the rest of sounds that I don't want?

Yes. As long as they are not assigned.
