It's not supported yet in Constructor (next version), but Constructor does support creating SoundFonts. I'm not keen on recommending making SoundFonts for Kronos use, but that's the only practical option for now.
You can create Kronos banks in Translator, but not from scratch just within the program. You can create programs etc. in other sampler, or make your own SFZ file, and then convert it.
The upcoming Korg Creator will do a lot in creating Kronos banks from current files and from scratch.

Thank you for the information
Is there any more information about Korg Creator about please?

From what I've read it's supposed to be similar to their Motif Creator software which does an excellent job of creating Motif files

I'm using Awave Studio to create Kronos sample files -- no problems.

(Note: Awave does not support Kronos files, specifically PCG ones. You can create KSC/KMP/KSF files, but that's a limited thing. What is more useful is creating SoundFonts, at least with those programs. Chicken Systems Translator supports creating Kronos files and sets them up for RAM, User Sampling, or Streaming (virtual memory).)
I'd mentioned Korg Creator earlier but I don't really want to talk about it until it's released, otherwise it's just a vaporware/promise-date type of thing and that's not worth talking about. It's only useful once people get to use it.
Constructor will have Kronos support shortly, as it uses the same conversion engine that Translator has. Next update.

Constructor has some minor issues at the moment and that these are all sorted out with the next update

I picked this up the other day. Seemed like it would be just what I need for a particular project. I was told a new version will be out in a couple days.
While trying to gather information on the product I was told that it could output directly to Kronos format. It doesn't. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that when they told me a week ago it did that was based on knowing it would sometime this week.
I was thinking of doing a video review if that would be helpful to anyone. Will wait on the new version to do that of course.

It does need an upcoming version, that's correct, the public one doesn't support Kronos merely because the engine it shares with Translator hasn't been updated yet.
We wouldn't have said Constructor works with Kronos at this point because it doesn't, perhaps you got the info mixed up with Kronos support in Translator, not Constructor.
Further, Korg Creator will do much much better than Constructor when it comes to building Kronos multisamples and Programs/Combis. Constructor is generic whereas Korg Creator will be very specific.
If you are frustrated about Korg Creator not being out yet, we completely share your frustration x2. It's WAY late, we had a tough spring with other things continually and rudely taking priority. It's why we are not talking about it here. It is a major priority for June, but again I want to talk about it when we walk the talk. It's disingenuous otherwise.

Thank you for keeping us in the picture.
Look forward to the up and coming release of Creator
I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

No software yet can create a Kronos PCG File (at least not in the real sense).
Awave or Chicken or Rooster have the SO CALLED function but it does NOTHING
more then what the Kronos can do. In Sampling Mode in Kronos you have
the SAME exact function called CONVERT TO PROGRAM. A lot of people
threw money on Awave or Chicken for no reason, expecting it would do
Miracles but it won't, all they can do is just convert Samples nothing else.

I really don't like to have this stuff in a public forum which is why I sent email to you directly saying I understand getting issues worked out and would help in any way to do that. But, since you decided to question my credibility publicly in a community where I deal with a lot of people. Lets just set the record straight - this is from a string of emails between us :
me> So I can build complete instruments with Constructor and then save them out as either EX24 or Kronos native?
chicken> Exactly.
Maybe you got it confused with translator, but my sentence was very clear.

Hi Nedim,
You should give Awave Studio a try. It does create PCG files for Kronos for sure. It converts M3 PCG files with samples and all in seconds and very useable. Of course it does not convert timbres that use ROM sounds. It does not transfers the effects either. It can also take Tyros UVN files one at a time and it gives you a Kronos PCG file along with the corresponding KMP and KSF files. I am so happy now I can get my hand on Tyros samples.

Of course i use Awave but thats all it does, convert the Samples and that's
it, as far as the PCG files go Kronos does that on its own as i explained.
