Touch Screen Won't Work at Start

Hi all,

When I turn on my Korg Krome, the touch screen does not respond to my touch (or anyone else's!) With luck, after an hour or two, it starts to respond. I'm not always in a situation where I can set up a few hours before I have to be able to play, so this is dire.

Has anyone encountered this? Is there any work-around yet?

It functioned normally for the first few weeks, but that was about it.

And apparently the touch screens sometimes just go kaput. After waiting several months for Korg to ship the replacement touch screen to the repair shop in my city, it's been fixed, and happily works again. (There's a slight issue with having to touch just a bit to the right and above of where everything is, but I can work with that).

Touch screen calibration (p126 of the operations guide) may help with the touch sensing inaccuracy.
