hey!

I was just wondering if there was a way to transpose a sample that i loaded from my usb that plays from "g#m" and transpose a Level up or down on the pa3x itself.

Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by "sample".
If you are referring to a user sound then go to Sound mode and Basic, osc Basic, and change Transpose for all Oscillators.
If you are mean a midi file then you can permanently change the key in Sequencer Mode, Menu, Song Edit, All Tracks, Transpose.
If you are referring to an mp3 you can change it a few tones reasonably successfully either on the fly with the transpose button or better permanently change it with a program such as Audacity (freeware).
Cheers,
John

Yes it's possible to transpose a sample. It will increase or decrease the lenght/speed of the sample.

The easy conclusion of what you've said is that you're trying to play an MP3 directly from your USB stick , so the temporary solution
are transpose tabs , and if do not work unlock transpose functions from Global menu.
For permanent pitch shift of this file , you must either change it's pitch via an external editor , nor convert it to Wav/Aiff format
and import it in sampler module , creating a multisample with it and determine it's original key.
The last procedure also must be followed for a single sample file when imported , not needed to discuss more about this ,
that's the sampler's purpose.

Now in case that you mean an instrument multisample loaded from your stick and is out of main key tune then this could be a tutorial...

How to correct an out of tone multisample
Probably your custom multisample(s) have wrong keymap arrangement or were translated the wrong way after importing in Pa3X
especially when processed with awave studio , a frequent situation I face from time to time .
My suggestion is to correct KMP keymap via Pa3X multisample interface with original note orientations and totally disagree to
shift original pitch of a sample since sound timbre changes characteristics of a note by note sampled instrument and becomes fake !
I also suggest as sound option what Reuben said , but if samples keymap forces original tuning to be shifted then sound will be still face !

Thanks guys!

It saved me so much more time by going into my logic and transposing it individually and reloading it back in to my pa3x.
