So I just picked up an OASYS 76.
The software says 1.01 mem 1GB and EXS1 and so.....
Where is the resource that explains how to update the software?
I have the giant Parameter Guide book and the Operation Guide, but neither has any details. Searching this forum led me to links about the Kronos...?
I have 4 CDs that say software version 1.1.0 so I know those are the starting point for a full update to current. Is it as simple as throwing CD 1of4 in the CDrom at restart?
Also I took a guess at the serial number and made something from the numbers on the back since the entry field was too short for any of the numbers on the underside sticker.
What else.....?
What do I have to do to get all the expansions going? I see the EXS1 note, but what about all the others?
Updating the OASYS software as a new user.....

Email arrived from KORGuser.net with instructions for the updates and sounds. All is well.

Excellent advice. My (very) old PC was recently retired and had 3 sticks so I snagged them and we are now at 2 GBs. I also found the thread on here about adding the RAM with pictures. I'm not even sure where to start there is so much to learn and do.
