playing your song on Apple Macbook Pro

I just recorded a song and saved it but when I tried to load it on my Mac, it said it did not recognize the file type. How do I specify what the file type should be for my Mac so that I can hear it on my computer. As you can probably tell, I am new both the the Krome and computers.
