Help: I can't get "swing" working in korg gadget

When I turn on swing, nothing happens, I try to change the swing percentage, and I don't get any swing at all. I can enter the same tempos on FunkBox, and they work great.
The manual states on page 18 that we should be able to choose how the swing is quantized. But, in the interface, I don't see that.
Help? What am I missing?
